2025 Pamoja Nursing School Primer

From August 18-20, 2025, the MBRACe team welcomed 13 Black nursing students from across Nova Scotia to Dalhousie University for the second annual Pamoja Nursing School Primer.

During the Primer, students had the opportunity to hear from guest speakers, engage in panel discussions, learn about resources available during their academic journey, and experience guided tours of the nursing simulation lab and four in-patient units at IWK Health.

A great opportunity for learning, socializing and networking, the Primer provided students with a comprehensive welcome to nursing education and the nursing profession.

Our thanks to all who participated and to our incredible MBRACe team for organizing another excellent event.
